The servo-valve and the relative hydraulic blocks are mounted directly on the cylinder to minimise the volume of oil towards the cylinder chambers.
In addition, the block has additional hydraulic connections for accumulators on the outlet and return, for filters and solenoid valves for safety locking.
The accumulator on the outlet is mounted near the outlet leaf of the servo-valve to ensure an instant oil flow at peak demands, while the accumulator on the return is close to the valve discharge leaf for dampening the pulsations on the return line.
The oil filter is mounted upstream of the servo-valve and ensures a further filtration of impurities that can enter into the hydraulic line (when the hoses are disconnected from the actuator, or particles of rubbery material that are detached from the inner surface of the hoses).
